As a owner of a Topfield TF5000PVRT Set Top Box trying to get repaired under warranty, I am very disappointed with the after sales service. My dealings with Technical Support to date are as follows: After talking to Tech Support, the TF5000PVRT was returned to them on January 15, 2007 via Toll transport-Very efficient and all good so far!3.8/5(16)

Jul 02, 2016 · If Topfield are not answering during business hours, there is obviously a problem. Believer writes... I am NEVER buying a Topfield again, seeing there is ZERO phone support. The first point of contact for warranty issues should be the retailer.

The 7000 was released in 2007 and was the first Topfield product to support high definition (HD). This was superseded by the TF7100PVRt in 2008 which added networking capability and eventually became more reliable. These were the first PVRs from Topfield based on the Linux operating system. These models had MPEG2 tuners.
