Mar 21, 2011 · That said, I have been reading as much as I can on TRIM, including the Wikipedia article. But, I cannot seem to figure out if TRIM support in the OS means that the hard drive is being "cleaned up" in the background, and no action by the user is needed, or if I need to run a Unix command or something to do it manually.
