Apr 26, 2014 · sorry for hijacking, i have a vibration at 80-90 kmph, no where else, worse when im on the gas, less but still apparent when off the gas. i read the carrier bearing has some play in it, like an inch or so, i can lift my drive shaft in the middle, like a half inch or so up and down right near the carrier bearing, didnt check side to side though..

Nov 26, 2019 · Found carrier bearing to have some slop and replaced it today. Pulled out of drive for test drive and it made a terrible noise and vibration at any speed. Jacked up truck and watched drive train in D. Without accelerating the drive shaft was flopping around in carrier bearing. Anyone seen this in a new center support bearing?
