Oct 09, 2017 · I’m trying to write a twain client that supports Mac OS X 10.7 and later. I have implemented a callback function which is Twain 2.x compliant and it appears to work with some Twain devices on the Mac, however, as I understand it Mac only supports up to Twain 1.9, which doesn’t use a callback function (it uses an event loop).

I've downloaded the TWAIN driver. It says it installs, but doesn't prompt me to do anything (like enter the IP address of my scanner) after installing. Arrgh. Being so new to Lion, and somewhat new to Mac OS (relative to my 15 years as a Windows admin), I'd love some advice on how TWAIN works on Mac OS.

Mar 30, 2012 · I have been told by HP tech support that I need to reinstall Twain Drivers (for scanning) on my Macbook Pro (OS10.6.8). These drivers are located in the HD library under System, library, frameworks, Twain Frameworks. MAC Tech support doesn't even now what Twain software is.
