Oct 15, 2015 · After much work, I have the media server showing most of my files, however, the FLAC files and the directories they are in do not. Is this due to the new DLNA server software? Is flac supported? If so what might I be missing? The manual appears to indicate support, but I am not sure if they are just meaning itunes. Thanks

Jun 05, 2013 · Twonky works fine with FLAC files; I used it for many years to stream FLAC files to my Linn DS music players. I now use Twonky for pictures and videos but use MinimServer for my FLAC files.

Hi, Most of the Linksys Smart Wi-Fi Routers are DLNA ready / certified and it's built-in media server is powered by Twonky Media. Since it's an embedded type, media server limitations are applied due to the license granted by Twonky to most of the router manufacturers.

Jan 17, 2017 · The problem is that the TV, a LG OLED55E6p, cannot play the FLAC format music files that most of my collection consists of. I then patched the MBL with the “WDMediaServerPatch.deb” patch from the WD Support site to switch it from Twonky Server to DLNA server. This worked: the TV can now see and play the FLAC format music but only on the MBL.
