Jun 05, 2013 · Just to add after a bit of experimenting. My media clients are 2 WDTV LIve units, a Revo Axis XS and MediaMonkey, Windows MediaPlayer and VLC running on my Windows 7 PC. The WD TV Live units both play FLAC files from the QNAP Twonky server perfectly.

Oct 15, 2015 · After much work, I have the media server showing most of my files, however, the FLAC files and the directories they are in do not. Is this due to the new DLNA server software? Is flac supported? If so what might I be missing? The manual appears to indicate support, but I am not sure if they are just meaning itunes. Thanks

I know this is a bit of a minefield, I have a Denon 720 amp and am interested in the DMP720 to go with it, but from what I've read they don't implement gapless via DLNA push (using the media server or an app to control the play).
