Oct 15, 2013 · Golly, it's now working! Turns out the QNAP twonkymedia server has a setting (via the qnap web interface) "enable SONOS support" . Looks like it switches port nos. I'm guessing SONOS has a bug whereby it only allows certain ports. Looks like SONOS was only tested with "doze" media server (throwback to the 1980s )

May 21, 2017 · This was the answer I got from Twonky regarding this problem : Thanks for contacting us and explaining your problem. Indeed, the Qnap 4.3.2 firmware embeds a 64 bits linux system, and the Twonky Server available through the App Center expects 32 bits system libraries.

Oct 15, 2015 · WD Customer Service/Staff has been AWFUL addressing this issue up until this point. All they simply need to do is supply a firmware upgrade with TwonkyMedia Server >= 6.0.30. I was planning to return my MyBook Live device, but I thought I would try to upgrade the TwonkyMedia Server on my own first.
