Aug 20, 2012 · I believe TZ170 is considered (or will soon) at end-of-support. I got rid of mine this year and used the upgrade promo to get the TZ210. You get a discount. If you are comfortable with the Sonicwall interface, then I would recommend upgrading the unit. There are other brands of firewalls like you mention that others prefer.
