This is going to be a long post, so here is the TL;DR: This laptop fails to work with Intel Integrated Graphics with any kernel above or equal to v4.11. Nvidia graphics work good though, for display driver in any kernel. Tried with Ubuntu 16.04 and 18.04, and v4.9, v4.10 work good by default.
