Nov 29, 2008 · I'm not by any means an expert in these things, but the boot messages from my own Ubuntu 8.10 guest seems to indicate to me that Ubuntu does detect my virtual drive as a SATA drive. Stéphane Aha now that opens up a perspective, I'll try that tomorrow, what should I be looking for to determine sata is used??
