Jan 24, 2014 · I want to add that i tried with "windows installer cleanup utility" to uninstall apple mobile device. And the result is that apple mobile device disappear from the "apllications and programmes" menu, but the service still exists.

I have windows 7. Control Panel --> Uninstall a Program. Right Click Apple Mobile Device Support --> Change. A window will pop up asking if you want to Repair or Remove. I said Repair. Once its finished repairing, go back to Control Panel --> Uninstall a Program. Double click or right click, uninstall Apple Mobile Device Support.

Jan 30, 2014 · I too have the same problem as wi_rizzo.I followed the above procedures and tried removing all 5 of the items but Apple Mobile Device Support would not uninstall so I followed the directions in HT1923 and manually removed the Common Files/Apple folder.
