UNSW was one of the first Australian universities to support the dreams of outstanding athletes to obtain a world class education whilst continuing to compete as an elite athlete in their chosen sport. The tradition continues today with over 150 students each year being supported by UNSW Sports Scholarships and the Elite Athlete Support Program.
