Oct 26, 2018 · Every time in devices and printer it says it has a driver problem. Troubleshoot, and it comes back to USB Printing Support Driver. Says to reboot to fix, never fixes. In device manger, there's the yellow triangle with the black exclamation point next to USB Printing Support.

I'm trying to use an old parallel-port based printer with a USB-to-parallel port adapter on Windows 7. When I plug it into the USB port on the computer it's listed as an unrecognized device. Apr 10, 2017 · First disconnect the USB cord for the printer from the computer, then expand the Universal Serial Bus controllers field and find any USB Printing Support entries that are greyed out. If this is the only printer, this should be easy. Right click on the one that is greyed out and click Uninstall Device, then click uninstall.
