Dear Experts I am running a debian based linux kernel version 2.6.11 running on an intel XScale. I use a serial converter that gets attached by the driver to ttyUSB0, however it sometimes deataches and then reattaches to ttyUSB1, and this is very inconvenient as the program that is using the serial converter expects it in ttyUSB0.
