    Jun 08, 2019 · How do you add/connect USB bootable thumb drive to ESXi host ? I've added USB controller, and USB device shows up (Kingston), but i cannot connect it to VM. I'm sure this USB.. I'm clean installing Windows 10 from usb flash (from Microsoft) in a new vm, and its attached to host. It is only USB controller i need to add?

    Dec 16, 2008 · ESXi was going to have usb support the same as ESX has however they broke the code in ESXi so it is being looked at and there should be something working in the new year. I have an installation of ESX 3.5 and also ESXi 3.5 u3 and the ESX is great. Put in thin client as a wall adapter with 4 usb ports and video.
