The Coast Guard offers families an In-Home Family Child Care (FCC) program in Coast Guard-owned or leased housing. The FCC program is a network of independently operated child care homes, licensed by the state or Coast Guard, and supported by the local Coast Guard command.

The Family Advocacy Program is a Congressionally-mandated (Chapter 10 United States Code Section 1058) program that addresses prevention, identification, reporting, investigation, and treatment of intimate partner and child maltreatment and assigns responsibilities for a coordinated community response within the Coast Guard in collaboration with services outside the Coast Guard.

In Transition - This DoD program is for all military members including members of the Coast Guard. It provides service members currently receiving mental health treatment a bridge of support between health care providers should they transfer to a new location or separate from active service.
