Viper strike is the same 10% per stack yes, but the duration of those stacks, is 8 seconds. Viper strike is what it has always been a single target skill. And that's why I am using it in my poison blade fall build. The poison support gem allows poison aoe attacks. Something that viper strike melee splash has never been able to deliver effectively.

Nov 07, 2013 · There's nothing stopping you from using multiple copies of the same support gems on different skills. I currently only have Viper's Strike supported with Faster Attacks, which is also supporting my Leap Slam. I have a bit of a socket problem atm
