    Sep 16, 2013 · I then shut down the old server and removed (not deleted) the second hard disk that we are using as a datastore. When I tried to add this disk to the new server it said the file was not found. I can see the file in the exact location that I had it before, so I am not sure of what the problem actually is at this point or why it won't add.

    Good to know. I can also confirm that I can run VMs as long as there are no VHDs connected to any of the controllers. The more research I do into this, the more the issue seems to be pointing towards the FSDepends and the onboard LSI SCSI controller.
