There is no progress and there will not be any progress in medium term. Bluetooth devices could work when connected via USB but we don't plan to support any internal bluetooth hardware so far. It's a lot of work with a questionable benefit. Has been passed 4 year, I wonder if the policy still not changed?

May 13, 2013 · Is it possible to use host's Bluetooth network connection (tethered to my smartphone) on a VM? If yes, how? When I try to create an External virtual switch in Hyper-V Manager->Virtual Switch Manager->Create Virtual Switch button, I only see my wired and 802.11 connections offered in 'External network' dropdown list.
