Nov 20, 2011 · So I do not use WLMM to make my AVI's from WTV. Nor do I involve WMV at all. My work flow is WTV edited with VRD and saved as MPG. The edited MPG is read into VirtualDub and converted directly to AVI by VirtualDub using xVid, retaining the original DD5.1/AC-3 audio.
