Dec 09, 2008 · In the strictest traditional sense - no, uTorrent is not multi-core aware at the code level. However, uTorrent always has around 4 threads running doing various things; so unless you have more then four cores there is no real difference unless you are doing something serious like hashing multiple multi-gigabyte files.

Jan 27, 2007 · Vista itself will support 64 bit multi core, but not multi processors. the other "more expensive" operating systems are needed for more CPU support. Don't forget that to use the advantage of 64 bit, multi CPU, multi core it's application dependent as well. User #132594 33237 posts.
