If you update the virtual machine compatibility from ESXi 5.1 and later to ESXi 5.5 and later, reinstall VMware Tools to get the latest SVGA virtual graphics driver and Windows Display Driver Model driver. Apr 12, 2019 · The vm works perfectly when I have it running without 3d support enabled. The minute I check that box it becomes very slow and unresponsive. Clicking the start menu takes 5 seconds or so to open even the mouse movement is slow. Side note, the VM needs 3d support because I am trying to run some cad software we have for a cnc.
