    Jul 26, 2010 · Hi all, Is it supported to run ESXi 4.1 on hosts managed by vSphere 4.0? Right now we are running ESX 4.0 on the hosts. If we are not going to upgrade to vSphere 4.1 is there a compelling reason to still upgrade the hosts to ESXi 4.1 or no?

    Aug 14, 2010 · I actually gave it a test last night in my development environment that is running vSphere 4.1 and to my surprised it worked without any issues. I personally don't use appspeed, so I did not really bother but I did see that it was stated as "planned" support for vSphere 4.1 and hence my initial reply.
