Aug 16, 2007 · Since MS exchange 2007 runs on a 64-bit physical server I need to know if I have to buy a second 64-bit server to place in our disaster recovery center OR if I could somehow create a 64-bit guest VM on my existing vmware host. Thanks in advance for your time.

Granted, this server is not on VMware's HCL, but I'm still hoping somebody may have some advice. VT support is enabled in the BIOS, booting off a CPUID disk shows VT support enabled for all procs, and CentOS 5 64-bit will install without problems. /proc/cpuinfo under ESX doesn't show vmx support though.
