    Sep 14, 2010 · Okay, this always happens after you post something, but I think I figured it out. PAE support is also dependent on hardware DEP. I think on that ESX 4.1 host, in the Dell Bios setup, the the Execute Bit feature is disabled, so Windows is doing DEP thru software.
