Sep 24, 2010 · ESXi doesn't support RAID on software (fake / HostRAID) controllers like the ICH10R. The most you'll see are the individual drives even when the controller is set to RAID mode.

Mar 12, 2009 · Hello Dan, welcome to the VMware Community forums. The community oem.tgz file that you're using doesn't have an entry for 3a26 so you would need to add it. With some ICH controllers that have 6 SATA ports there is one device that handles port 0 - 3 with one PCI id and another that handles port 4- 5 with another PCI id.
