Aug 17, 2018 · Dear forum, I am fully aware that VMware stopped supporting Windows Server 2003 with vSphere 6.7. Has someone tried already if such VMs still work or is VMware actually preventing Windows Server 2003 VMs from running on vSphere 6.7?

Nov 15, 2009 · Hello, I am using a Windows 7 image hosted on VMWare Server 1.5. If i am working from the VMWAre server console, things work fine. But if I take a remote session of the Windows 7 machine, the machine automatically shuts down after few minutes. i have to go back to the VM Server Console and switch the power ON.

Jul 26, 2010 · Hi, definitely Windows 7 operating system isn't supported by vmware server 2. Then so many issues can happens. I would recommend you to use other vmware products that support Windows 7 like for example Workstation 7.01 or player 3.01.

Jan 13, 2009 · I tried to install windows 7(64 bit) as a client in vmware server 2.0 (my host is windows xp 32bit). The problem is, when I tried to boot from CD, it's starting but not finishing the installation. Anybody have any idea, Why lake that?? or vmware server 2.0 doesn't support windows 7 (64 bit)

May 01, 2018 · The virtual machine that needs VBS is presented with nested virtualization, virtualized TPM, Firmware/BIOS support for Secure Boot and UEFI, etc. Same as on the laptop/desktop example. vSphere 6.7 provides that necessary virtual hardware support to allow Windows 10 and Windows 2016 to be able to function as designed.

Oct 31, 2008 · I’m runnning VMWare Server 2.0 on Ubuntu 8.10, with Windows 7 as a guest VM. Everything seems to work and perform well. However, I can consistently lock up the Windows 7 UI by resizing task manager vertically while on the Performance tab.
