Mar 07, 2018 · The scenario is that we have a W2008R2 server on a Hyper-V VHD and want to 'import' it into VMware. Being that the VHD is, in fact, the hard disk it looks like there is no way to actually import into VMware. We tried converting the VHD to VMDK, create the server and attached the drive but encountered the BSOD on boot.
