Oct 09, 2014 · Fusion 7 Aero support. I am currently running VMWare Fusion 7 on a late 2013 15" Macbook Pro. It has an Intel Iris Pro 1536MB integrated chip. I have been unable to get Aero to work through my Windows 7 VM and I'd like to know if anyone else has had a similar issue.

Mar 20, 2009 · I just got this working in my Windows 7 VM using my Windows 7 client RDP'ed into the VM. The other trick that isn't mentioned on this thread or any links on this thread is that you have to enable "Highest Quality (32 bit)" in the Colors setting on the Display tab when you click the Options button in the Remote Desktop Connection client software.

Nov 07, 2010 · I disagree, VMware's statement that they support Windows 7 on 4.5 is completely accurate. Aero is a feature within Windows 7, not the OS itself. To me this is the same as saying, "I can't play Starcraft 2 on my Windows 7 VM so I don't think Windows 7 is supported".
