I am using VMware workstation 15 Player to run a Linux guest in a Windows Host. The windows host supports BLE and I have shared that with the guest OS using USB controller in VMware. Oct 28, 2016 · After a base install of Windows 10, I synced up a Microsoft Bluetooth keyboard and mouse to the new OS and everything appeared to be working fine. Once I installed VMware Workstation 12.5.0 the Bluetooth keyboard and mouse will work during boot / login but once everything is loaded they will not function anymore.

I support a fleet of Laptops, and found that different USB Bluetooth adapters work with VMWare on different laptops.I have had very good luck purchasing different USB Bluetooth doggles on eBay and Meritline for about a dollar or so.
