Jul 28, 2011 · Before I connected the new drive I disabled shadow copies on the drives. I then turned off the VSS service. Removed the old drive, added the new and then reanabled the service. Still cannot see the new drive. Any ideas? The new drive is a WD Elements USB 2.0 drive.
