Oct 18, 2017 · Remove the center link that goes across the car and attaches to each brake support. Then just unthread the ball joint threads from the support tube and remove the two bolts holding the brake support link to the body. The manual casually mentions pushing the control arm forward to ease removal of the bearing carrier. That's an understatement.

Dec 07, 2018 · The photo below shows the brake line where it attaches to the hard distribution line. To loosen the brake line at the hard line, you will need an 11mm and 14mm flare line wrench (made especially for brake lines, to give a better hold on the nuts) and use them as a counter-hold against each other to loosen the top end of the line.

Jun 29, 2016 · The parking brakes on a W124, W201 and W126 are apparently all adjusted in the same way so hopefully this guide will be helpful to you too. If you are unsure if your parking brake needs adjusting you can tell by how many clicks the pedal goes down will you apply the parking brake. If it is between 4-11 your parking break should be ok.
