Jul 10, 2019 · DX12 does not support traditional fullscreen mode for various reasons but it really isn’t Blizzard’s fault as they were just trying to mitigate any potential issue before it arose to provide the best experience possible for the majority. Alt-tabbing out of the old fullscreen sucked anyway. Games tended to hang or crash half of the time.
