Apr 22, 2012 · Hi, as soon as I specify IsReference=true, the data that is being sent from WCF -> Silverlight (I can see it is being sent via fiddler) which was working before, returns empty objects (root object is instantiated, but properties are null or default).

I know that since WCF 3.5 SP1 I can serialize circular references using [DataContract(IsReference=True)] but is there any other way? Could I for example write a custom attribute for a class which tells serializer that every member of the class is a data member?
