Oct 15, 2015 · Hi I’m having a problem with my My Book network drive, where it keeps disappearing from the network, and hence is unaccessable. The router is showing it connected as a cabled connection & it’s allocated an IP address, but next to the address it’s has “UNKNOWN” as it’s network name. Dec 07, 2018 · After building a PC with win 10, i've not had my WD my book world edition used for a good while, decided to plug it in and install the drivers etc. Plugged it into a switch and it's not being recognised at all, even downloaded the WD cd with the drivers and the detection tool doesn't see it either.

Aug 18, 2017 · Windows 10 - WD MyBookWorld Driver issue I have recently upgraded to Windows 10 & have encountered the following problem. My WD MyBookWorld is visible & accessible in File Explorer under "Network" however File History doesn't display it as an available drive to save copies of my files.
