Oct 15, 2015 · My wd tv live doesn't read ntfs usb stick. I have the latest firmware. After firmware it stops reading it. There is no problem with fat32 but i need ntfs for mkv. Is there any solution?

Oct 15, 2015 · hello. yersterday i bought a wd live media player without hard disk. i plugged in my own WD external hard disk (NTFS) but nothing happened!!! the disk was 2.5 withour power supply. then i tried a second external hard disk, again NTFS but 3.5 with external power supply.

Please support exFAT FS in some of the upcoming firmwares. NTFS with its features like QUOTA and Shadow Copy is not intend to be used on USB sticks. exFAT is great evolution of FAT32 which can hardly be used nowadays on drivers with space equal to tens of GBs. Oct 15, 2015 · My WD TV Live SMP happily reads/detects a 128Gb USB3.0 NTFS flash drive. It also reads/detects 3 other USB2.0 64Gb flash drives one of them also a Patriot. Oct 30, 2009 · I have a WD Passport drive with 2 paritions, FAT32 and NTFS and it picks up both, and I can view movies from either at any time. No unplug/replug required. It just works. Haven't noticed any bugs or issues with NTFS. Just make sure you're using the latest FW from their site.

Aug 25, 2014 · Most devices support FAT32 and exFAT as the major OSes( Windows,Linux,MacOSX) support them almost as their native filesystem. Its strange to see LG TV support a proprietary and which is badly/not fully supported on all OSes: NTFS. This filesystem (NTFS) should be the last to support on any other device thats not a Windows machine.

Sep 28, 2012 · Also, to answer my own question, it says that it can support "dvd mounts" - images, I think - if you have 'an officially supported (fat, ntfs, hfs, hfs+) drive attached.' So that's good, but still I don't know if it supports .flv plus if it has some sort of file managing service like Live Plus.
