Apparently wellbutrin is not meant to be taken for people who have anger/rage issues or suspected psychosis so my pdoc says Question Is it effective when taken with Effexor? If it increases sex drive, decreases appetite and helps kill depression then i will take the insomnia and anxiety :D

It did some work for my depression but my social anxiety became worse. I remember going to WalMart to buy some things and I began to have a panic attack. I am pretty sure I looked like a deer in headlights, I froze and felt paralyzed. I was about put everything down and just run out the store but that thought made me even more nervous.

I will tell you Wellbutrin is an excellent anti-depressant but can often cause more anxiety, especially if you are new to the medication. If you have depression with moderate to severe anxiety, Zoloft (sertraline) is a better option. If you have panic disorder, Wellbutrin will not help.
