I would like to know why Outlook 2007 and 2010 doesn't support full CSS. We actually I know why, because it uses the Word rendering engine. There really should be an update for Outlook to support proper CSS such as float and position etc.

May 27, 2013 · The body of an appointment item does not support HTML, it uses Rich Text format. In the Outlook object model there is no AppointmentItem.HTMLBody, there's only a Body (plain text) or RTFBody (Rich text).

Sep 02, 2008 · I've coded multiple inline CSS HTML emails that are sent from Lsoft to my Outlook 2007 email. About 99% of the time, the email renders perfectly, however the other 1%, the tables and fonts render incorrectly. All the code is utilizing inline CSS, I'm using multple tables with proper widths (none are nested), the images are hosted and not embedded, and the links all work properly.
