Sep 15, 2016 · Hi there, Just wanted to let you know that I have windows, and I have been unable to find a fix for 21:9 resolution as well. Through the hours of research I have put into this, it seems that there used to be fixes for this issue through widescreen fixer and flawless widescreen, but as the game got older and as it got patched, these fixes ceased to work and newer ones weren't developed.

Touchscreen support is now built into the Linux kernel, so theoretically any Linux distribution should run with a touchscreen. That said, not every distribution will be easy to use on a touchscreen, and this comes down to the desktop.

Adding support for widescreen resolutions? I upgraded my monitor to one with a 2560x1080 resolution. As far as I can tell, Linux unfortunately does not support this resolution out of the box and you have to add a "mode" for the resolution manually using xrandr. The monitor cannot be set higher than 1920x1080 using arandr or nvidia-settings.

You get two aspect ratio controls; 16:9, and 21:9, but it also adds a plus and minus button that you can use to increase or decrease the width of the screen.
