Sep 14, 2004 · Note: The only difference between Winamp Full and Winamp Pro is that WA Pro has high speed CD burning and MP3 CD ripping. WA Pro is not needed for SHN playback. Third party plug-in do not receive tech support in Winamp forums. So please contact etree for additional support/help with the SHN plug-in. Of which you already have done.

I have done this before but for some reason the files when being decoded on winamp all show 0:00 time length, is this due to corrupt shn files. I also noticed that Aol now seems to support winamp, and also I am using vista which i don’t normally use.

apparently, wayne updated in_shn.dll in dec 2006 to fix a bug that didn't show up until recently. you can get it from this thread. another side affect of upgrading to a more recent version of winamp is that ATSurround Processor output plug-in doesn't work anymore.

Jul 20, 2011 · SHN Winamp confusion Technobabble. Shorten is a closed format that was abandoned by its developer in 2003. In other words, its code can not be modified in any way and is quite literally obsolete at this point in time.

Oct 21, 2004 · perfect. Possibly you could rewrite the foobar portion including info on exactly which version of foobar to download to get support for SHN-FLAC-APE and some tips on tags, etc. Some people still have to download the plugins and are confused about where to find the full installer.
