Aug 01, 2010 · Restoring Windows 7 UPS support after uninstalling PowerChute. So how do you restore through device manager, restore the original driver. I think that pretty bad on APC part to offer less flexibility than the native windows driver, and then not put the default driver back after you uninstall. Why offer the download at all.

I'm trying to enable my ups (APC Back-UPS350) on my new windows 7 desktop pc. APC told me to install PowerChute software/drivers. The install stops with a 'disable native windows power management' statement. I can't figure out how/where to do this.
