So, even though you stop at the current ESR version 68, you’ll probably get updates for another year. However, given the amount of users still on Windows 7 and what they did with Windows XP, I have a feeling a newer ESR version will be released specifically for Windows 7 in 1 or 2 years. This means they will probably support it for 2 or 3 years.
