Apr 06, 2008 · Hi, I have a Dell 2408 WFP monitor. This is a wide-gamut display with a very large color pallet. These displays are become very popular but have issue with colors appearing oversaturated unless corrected. Does anyone know if Vista has support for these wide gamut displays? Thanks, Jerry

Jul 16, 2012 · This treatment of un-color-managed content as sRGB in Windows 7 was not applied to Explorer though (the main UI) and maybe some other unmanaged apps (actually, a quick test shows apps may be managed as sRGB, yay! - I'll try a wide gamut monitor to make sure), so content in Explorer is over saturated (red icons are particularly painful).
