This is actually a little tricky to demo since most Windows apps only support 16 colors at most whereas the Linux world has broadly supported 256 color terminals for a while now, and 24-bit color is becoming more established.

Some virtual terminal emulators support a palette of colors greater than the 16 colors provided by the Windows Console. For these extended colors, the Windows Console will choose the nearest appropriate color from the existing 16 color table for display.

I wanted to to print one single line in a different color. Use ANSI Escape Sequences. Windows before 10 - no native support for ANSI colors on the console. For Windows version below 10, the Windows command console doesn't support output coloring by default.
