Aug 01, 2013 · We have windows 2008 r2 server for file sharing that does not support AFP. SMB works on basic level but when it comes to bigger files, deep folder stucture SMB is way to slow. Sep 28, 2017 · Normally I'd run screaming from such a request given that while it worked OK in the past Microsoft killed native AFP services off awhile ago. Yet I'm being asked to look for a 3rd party AFP tool so a dept full of Mac uses can share files on Windows Server 2012.
