Can anyone tell me when the end of product support lifecycle is for Windows Small Business Server 2011? Also, should I be updating Exchange 2010 separately? Will these updates all come through Windows update or do I need to perform any service packs etc. individually (or manually)?

Jul 05, 2012 · To get close to the equivalent of SBS Standard with the Premium Add-On you would need 2 Windows Server 2012 Standard licenses to support VMs for DC, Exchange Server Standard, and SQL Server Standard, right? Which is over $3,200 (Open NL) for starters. (882×2+708+898). (I don’t have time to verify prices here.)

Jul 05, 2018 · I think the correct answer to this question is 24 months after the release of SBS 2011 SP2, but I'm being told it's more like 2020. I'm interested because I think if we went for Cyber Essentials certification, we wouldn't get it due to our server being passed it's best.
