The Domain Search List for Windows is configured using GPO and not DHCP. Dec 26, 2012 · Furthermore, Windows DHCP Clients do not process this DHCP option at all, and instead rely on Active Directory Group Policy Objects. Recent versions of *NIX (and OSX) seem to happily support DHCP/119 when the client package is correctly configured.
