I am realizing that this card (an AOpen model AW-850) is not on the Windows Vista HCL, there are no Windows Vista drivers for it anywhere on the internet, and it was an inexpensive card anyway. It behooves me to just break down and buy a new card that IS on the HCL.

Mar 08, 2013 · The device is a USB MIDI controller. On all other OS's, it was a plug and play device that relied on Microsofts MIDI driver(s). Like I said, the device shows up, but will not install. From what I have read, it seems that Windows 8 isn't going to support it (MIDI) any time soon. Anyone have any more information on this?

Jun 24, 2017 · The new UWP (Universal Windows Platform), which Cakewalk Sonar is suggesting for interfaces (in Sonar) works, BUT, devices such as my USB MIDI "Behringer X-Touch" does not work. I have an older USB wireless controller, a Frontier Tranzport, and it too will not work with the new UWP. I'm using the Windows "plug and play" drivers for the X-Touch.
