Nov 30, 2011 · I have a problem to transfer large file (mail.pst - Zipped file - 5Gbyte) from the laptop (Dell Latitude D630) to an external Hard drive (WD 320 G - FAT 32) where each time , I found the message "There is not enough free disk space" athough I have performed successful disk clean up on both sides and there is enough space on both sides (not less than 25 GByte).

Nov 09, 2014 · The root of this is Windows XP x86 is MBR only meaning that the limitation is to do with MBR. Disks exceeding 2TB must use GPT which extends the limit significantly, however Windows XP does not have this support currently. A 32 bit version of windows generally will only see the protective MBR on a GPT disk.
