Mar 12, 2007 · I click start and then turn off computer. The box that displays Stand by Shut down and restart pops up. No matter which one I click, nothing at all happens. The box disappears and then it just goes back to my desktop. Waiting does not yield any results either. It seems to me that its like the icons are invalid shortcuts. If that is even possible.
